Kachi
An app that measures how effective your skincare products are
Founder and author Bryan Le has gained traction with his skincare checking service: share the skincare products you use and Bryan will score each product for value vs effectiveness.
With excellent feedback he wanted to scale the idea.

Bryan came to Caboodle for help with strategy and visualising the best version of the product to get investment.
Up until now he'd been using a web form and a powerful spreadsheet with quite a manual process.

We reduced the visual overwhelm and brought focus to the key action: adding products.

For those that scroll, we provided an example result removing all guesswork and uncertainty.

Positive friction works a lot of magic when you want to reward effort with anticipation.

We created a simple results screen which gets users to value as soon as possible and reveals whether they could benefit from the service.

People looking for value don't want more cost. So we reframe the cost as a big yearly saving instead. $9 is then price anchored against the bigger yearly number.

The value of feedback at this stage is huge, so we combined Bryans passion for community building with an incentive to join the community. Communities also build trust, social proof and on-going value.

We also provided a brand identity and a modern, scalable UI design system.
