How to introduce features, elegantly.

December 19, 2019

The problem

You’re releasing a new feature within your digital product and you want to make sure it gets noticed and your users understand the value it delivers.

Solution

Unobtrusive enough to avoid annoying your users but informative enough to be fit for purpose.

The tour tooltip — it’s hard to miss, sits in context with the feature and can be closed easily.

Pair it with a feature release email selling the benefit to get your users excited.  They can also be used as a powerful walkthrough during the onboarding of new users.
